We thank you for taking the time to consider booking your backcountry experience with us.
We are operating as normally as we can for the 2020/2021 season while adhering to the COVID guidelines as set
out by our Health Officials and Transport Canada. We're working hard to minimize the impact of COVID on your
experience with us. We pride ourselves on balancing mountain risk management with the customer
experience and COVID shouldn’t get in the way. We are professionals in our field with many, many years
of collective experience and look forward to having a good time with you in the mountains.
Important things for you to know about your experience with us
We ask you to have flexibility in your booking dates. We may need to alter your dates to
get you the best conditions we can or to ensure that we have enough space for you.
For the safety of our guests and staff we have reduced our capacity from 12 to 10 in order
for a little extra elbow room in our cats.
We require face coverings at all times while indoors on Powder Mountain Property where
2m (6ft) of physical distance cannot be maintained.
Our staff are diligent in sanitizing touchpoints such as grab handles, bathrooms and relevant
When booking you consent to the use of your information for contact tracing should there be an
exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
We ask that guests use the same seat all day.
To discourage the removal of masks in the cat and aircraft we will provide opportunity for
snacks and water while outside the snowcat. No eating or drinking is allowed in the cats or helicopter.
On the day of your experience guests will be asked a short COVID health screening before departure.
Staff will be screened daily for health.
If on the day of your trip or in the 14 days prior you show signs of COVID or illness of any kind, please
refrain from joining us. We will re-book you at no charge or issue a refund if that is not possible.
Cat skiing is awesome but staying healthy is wonderful too.
Thank you for your understanding, and bring on the snow!
