We thank you for taking the time to consider booking your backcountry experience with us.

We are planning on operating as normal for 2020/2021 while adhering to COVID guidelines as set out by our Health Officials and Transport Canada. We intend to do this while minimizing our impact to your experience with us. We pride ourselves on balancing mountain risk management with the customer experience and COVID shouldn’t get in the way. We are professionals in our field with many, many years of collective experience and look forward to having a good time with you in the mountains.

Important things for you to know about your experience with us

  1. For the safety of our guests and staff we have reduced our capacity from 12 to 10 in order for a little extra elbow room in our cats.
  2. We will require face coverings at all times while indoors on Powder Mountain Property where 2m (6ft) of physical distance cannot be maintained.
  3. Our staff will be diligent in sanitizing touchpoints such as grab handles, bathrooms and relevant surfaces frequently.
  4. When booking you consent to the use of your information for contact tracing should there be an exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
  5. We ask that guests use the same seat all day.
  6. To discourage the removal of masks in the cat and aircraft we will provide opportunity for snacks and water while outside the snowcat. Please no eating or drinking in the cats or helicopter.
  7. On the day of your experience guests will be asked a short COVID health screening before departure.
  8. Staff will be screened daily for health.

If on the day of your trip or in the 14 days prior you show signs of COVID or illness of any kind, please refrain from joining us. We will re-book you at no charge or issue a refund if that is not possible. Cat skiing is awesome but staying healthy is wonderful too.

Thank you for your understanding, and bring on the snow!
